Civis partnered with Soho Rep in Manhattan to produce The Hunger Cycle. Conceived as a series of theatrical works, The Hunger Cycle will explore the question, “What are we hungry for?”—an inquiry into material, emotional, and moral forms of sustenance in contemporary life. Through its focus on hunger, sustenance, belonging, and mutual care, The Hunger Cycle explores the creative survival practices that sustain communities in times of transformation.
